Star Trek Icon Leonard Nimoy is dead at 83

Leonard Nimoy has died at age 83 of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The star who played the iconic character Mr. Spock on "Star Trek," died Friday morning in Bel-Air, California, his granddaughter Madeleine Nimoy confirmed to ABC News. He is survived by his wife Susan Bay and his two children, Adam and Julie. May his soul rest in peace.
