12-year-old Girl Kills Herself After Her Parents Catch Her Watching Porn

This must be so devastating for her parents. Are we exposing our children to too much? At what age should children be allowed to be on the internet unsupervised? This is just so scary.

Police are investigating the death of a 12-year-old girl Russian girl Dasha Loginova who jumped out of a window after her father caught her watching adult videos. According to the initial police investigation, the pre- teen was watching an adult video sent to her by an older friend when her parents caught her in the act.

After the confrontation with her parents, Dasha locked herself in her room, then opened her window and jumped to her death from the 14th floor of her home in St. Petersburg. Shortly before her suicide, she is said to have tweeted: “I wish my parents would understand me.”

I woke up this morning feeling blessed. Sometimes you just have to be thankful for being alive. for good health and for family and friends. Hope you all are thankful today. My outfit today is actually from last Sunday. I wore it to a child's baptism. you cannot go wrong with a sheath dress. It comes in handy for almost any formal occasion. Is This Newsweek Cover Sexist?

This current Newsweek cover got a lot of tongues wagging about its sexist connotation. It has been described as despicable, offensive and inappropriate. The cover was created by artist Edel Rodriguez who is defending his working saying it is a depiction of what is going on in Silicon Valley

In an interview with Katharine Zaleski, CoFounder and President of PowerToFly.com, Rodrigues had this to say about the cover:
"I wanted to depict the harassment that women suffer. How the harassment can be unexpected and come out of nowhere. To show that frozen moment of shock, when a woman is just going about their life at work and something like this happens. I wanted to have the viewer see that moment when they look on a newsstand, and to be shocked themselves. Then be compelled to pick up the magazine and read the story behind the cover. These harassers have spent much of their lives behind a computer, seeing women as objects. I wanted them to be confronted with their stupidity as well. Hopefully by seeing it there, frozen in time, they could come to terms with what they are doing."

According to a new poll of 25,000 people in 23 countries, Angelina Jolie and Bill Gates are the most admired people in the world. From all indications, it seems humanitarians are more globally revered and appreciated. I would have voted those two as my number 1 as well. Jolie for her selfless fight to give refugees around the world some dignity and Gates for funding thousands of charities and causes around the world. For me service is the most humane thing we can do with our time on earth.

After months of speculations, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are officially expecting! Proud father to be Justin Timberlake finally confirmed the  baby news on his birthday on Saturday. Happy new month! This is just the 2nd month of 2015 which means you still  have 10 months to work towards all your goals and keep your resolutions. Although I did not make resolutions; I did decide to cleanse myself of negative energies in form of people from my life.

A wise friend once told me: people come into your life for a reason and a season. I have come to the realization that not everyone that comes into our lives is meant to stay forever....some people are just meant to be acquaintances not friends.
