- A UK woman Anne-Marie Casson(pictured right) served as surrogate for her own son Kyle using a donor egg that was fertilized by him. She has become the first woman in the UK to be a surrogate for her own son. Is this bizzare or what??? I know it is not her egg or anything but still...it is just weird!
The journey to having baby Miles(pictured left with dad Kyle) started when Kyle Casson at age 24 started researching how he could become a father. He was turned down by many surrogacy clinics because he was single and did not want to adopt because he wanted a biological child. After trying to get a surrogate and failing, his mother Anne-Marie volunteered and according to her, was backed by their doctor who had done it for a couple of families.
- 'Although he'd never done it for a single person he said he preferred surrogacy arrangements where the surrogate was related to the parents because there was less chance of something going wrong at the adoption stage, Anne-Marie said
