Police in Texas, said that the boy accidentally shot and killed himself after he found a loaded gun in the house of his babysitter. Codrick McCall Jr.’s parents are separated and he lived with his mother. The boy was left with his mother’s family member in Harris County, so that she could celebrate her birthday, relatives said.
At some point, the 4-year-old child found a gun in the house and shot himself, deputies said. Harris County deputies and Texas Child Protective Services are investigating how the boy got his hands on the loaded gun. A grand jury will determine if charges will be filed against the babysitter, authorities said.
