So I saw the much anticipated 50 shades of Grey on premier night...and let me first say Jamie Dorman slayed as Christian Grey! He brought the character to life in every way! Dakota Johnson also portrayed Anastasia Steele brilliantly. Other than that, the overall experience of the movie left my soul feeling violated...for lack of a better phrase. Seeing poor innocent Anastasia being dominated and flogged in motion picture was a different experience from reading it. It seemed rather extreme and left me wondering- why?
I get that BDSM is a lifestyle that some consenting adults find sexually gratifying but I just don't understand how it would pleasure any one to degrade another human being that way. Did you see it yet? What are your thought?
