Workout Wednesday - Burpees + video

Hello Lovelies,

Hope you all are doing great. Did anyone binge on Valentines day candy like I did? Well if so I have a quick fix for you. Have you ever heard of the exercise burpee? If you have and have tried it I bet you know how grueling it is. Burpees are grueling because they are a full body exercise that can be employed both in strength training and cardio routines. You literally have your whole body at work when doing burpees so you are burning calories while building muscle tissue.

For my routine today, I did the Fitness Blender 100 burpees challenge in addition to a strength training routine(see clip after cut). My hubby thinks I am crazy to do a 100 burpees but I assure you as arduous as they are, the pay off is great. If you are a beginner please do not do a 100 burpees at once. You can start with 10 and then build up from there. Have a lovely rest of the week lovelies.
