At least 23 people have been confirmed killed and 15 rescued, including four children, from the wreckage of a passenger plane that crashed into Keeling River in capital city Taipei in Taiwan after it clipped a freeway overpass. Fire department officials have confirmed that 14 of the deceased died at the scene while the other 9 died as a result of their injuries before they reached a hospital.
